No longer must you struggle through last minute studying on your own, Kram connects you with the top tutors at your University anytime at the push of a button. Simply search for the specific course or subject you need help in to view and message available tutors. Think you would make a good tutor? Set your own rate and availability and start making money with Kram. -------------------- FAQ - Are there any subscription fees or other costs for using Kram? Nope. Whether you are a student or a tutor, you do not pay a subscription fee for using Kram. Students only pay the tutors at the designated rate for sessions they setup. Payments are billed automatically through the app so you don t have to worry about carrying cash. - Why do I need to use my University email address to sign up? We require students and tutors to use their university email address since it guarantees they attend or work at the University. This provides security to both parties, and ensures tutors are knowledgeable on the exact courses specific to their university. - What is the hourly rate per tutor? Tutors set their own hourly rates to allow for a fair and competitive marketplace. - Are the tutors qualified? All tutors are certified for each course they wish to tutor, and since all tutors attend the same university as the student, tutors are knowledgeable on the exact courses they tutor. Our rating system also ensures that all tutors are constantly reviewed so that only the best and most qualified are on the system. - If I m a tutor, how do I set my availability? Tutors can set their own availability by either entering regular times in a week they are available or by manually toggling their status in the app. - What devices support Kram? Currently, the Kram application is only supported on iPhones running iOS7 or above. We are working on a future update to support other mobile devices as well as a web-app. - What universities does Kram support? Kram is currently at University of Pennsylvania and University of Southern California. We are working on expanding to other Universities across the U.S. later this year. - If I am registered as a tutor, can I still use Kram as a student? All registered users on Kram can search for tutors. - Why haven t I had this app forever? We know, we had the same question. So, how exactly does this all work? 1. Download the Kram app from the App store 2. Open the Kram app and sign up 3. Search available tutors by subject, course name or code. 4. Message with the any Available tutors to discuss a time and place to meet 5. When the student and tutor meetup, tap start session to initiate the session timer (both parties will be asked to confirm session start). 6. When the session is over, tap end session and both parties will be redirected to a session receipt with the total time and cost. 7. Students will rate tutors on a five star scale, and either party can report misuse. 8.
